Route description

The entirety of State Route 750 exists within southwestern Delaware County. The highway is not a part of the National Highway System, a network of highways deemed most important for the country's economy, mobility and defense.[2]

History

State Route 750 was established in 1937. Originally, the highway ran from State Route 257 to its junction with State Route 315.[3][4] In 1997, State Route 750 was extended eastward from State Route 315, crossing the Olentangy River and U.S. Route 23 via Powell Road, then following Polaris Parkway around to a new eastern terminus at Exit 121 off of Interstate 71 in the far northern end of Columbus.[5][6]

With a planned expansion of the Columbus Zoo in the works, State Route 750's westernmost portion was re-routed to the south in 2007 onto an all new alignment that brought its western terminus in line with the intersection of State Route 257 and County Road 126.[7]

Major intersections

The entire route is in Delaware County.
